Anyone has an update from acps and acjs?

What kind of updates are you referring to? If it's about balloting in Phase 2B, you can refer to MOE's website at https://www.moe.gov.sg/admissions/primary-one-registration/balloting. Take note that this is not a permanent page. I think they'll remove it before Phase 2C starts.

      Below is the excerpt:

      2. Anglo-Chinese School (Junior)
Balloting will be conducted for SC children residing outside 2km of the school.

      3. Anglo-Chinese School (Primary)
Balloting will be conducted for SC children residing within 1km of the school.

What kind of post-balloting update? Please show some consideration to those who underwent balloting today but did not get in.

If u want the numbers, MOE vacancies for phase 2C will be updated by 8pm tonight.

This year there are lesser seats in ACSJ. Expect a surge of applicants in SJIJ.

Does anyone know if the ACS schools conduct ballot on Saturday? Have they done in the past? Does the school state the date and time of ballot before the completion of 2C? (e.g on the walk in application forms?). Since Phase 2C ends on Friday, parents will have have a restless weekend without knowing if their kids have secured a seat. MOE should have conducted phase 2C from Monday to Wednesday instead, like the rest of the earlier phases. ( Just my viewpoint).

                  No balloting conducted, on Saturday

Balloting conducted only on weekdays : Mon to Fri, during normal office hours only, either in the morning or afternoon, which school will notify parents who are involved in balloting, the timing for balloting

                  Balloting for Phase 2C : Wednesday, 3 August 2016
can refer balloting dates here (moe website)
                  https://www.moe.gov.sg/admissions/prima ... ion/phases

                  ACS primary and junior :
Both being very popular schools, both will be full house, by the end of Phase 2C
Hence, Phase 2C Supplementay : NOT applicable, for these 2 popular schools. But applicable for other schools, that still had vacancies at end of phase 2C

Quite a few online applications this yr & for ACPS (prob just includes pp >1km trying)

ACSP 29 SC <1km (MOE update 35 applied)
                        ACSJ 13 SC <1km, 7 SC>2km (MOE update 32 applied)
                        SJIJ 9 SC <1km, 11 SC 1-2km, 5 SC>2km (MOE update 37 applied)

What i find interesting is that last yr, people seemed to have flocked from ACPS to ACJS on the last day till there was no balloting at ACPS for SC <1km & balloting at ACJS for SC <1km occurred instead. Wonder if the same thing will happen this time since ACPS tends to have oversubscriptions the first day with withdrawals subsequent days, while ACJS tends to fill up more towards the end.
