Registering my son for P1 this year. Wanted to find out more about the school.
How’s the school std now under the current P? Heard that there’s more academic focus now.
Is there holistic assessment for lower pri throughout the year?
CCAs start in P3?

We’re staying within 1km and planning to register under 2C. Hope there won’t be balloting this year.

For the last 2 years, there was just enough for < 1 Km, SC. Prior to that, there was balloting for 1-2KM.

I would say think your chances are on the slim slide but if you are really keen, keep an eye on it with a backup option in mind. (Alt, register your backup first and see how the numbers do come in KCPP on the last day to see if you want to switch).

Thanks for the advice. Yes I gathered as much from the statistics on this website, but it also appears that there is a lower % takeup rate subsequent from Phase 2B, than in past years.

Going to make a trip down to try my luck!

Skieboard, i realized a lot of schools have more vacancies for 2C this year. U may be in luck due to lower birth rate this yr… could be due to tiger year not as popular…
