Will I be right to say there might be a surge in the applications tomorrow at the popular schools

which as of today still is not over subscribed ...
Any history to reflect how high the surge might be tomorrow last 2C day??
check this link and see the 21 July prediction table on the first day till the last day applicants.

      http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/event ... n-phase-2c

it only show you the historical take up for all distance. for yourself, you better monitor directly with the school as some applicants (further than you) is of no relevance to you.

It's just due to the number of young families living around the area. What I don't understand is why Sengkang Green is so much more popular than Springdale given that they were both new schools set up at the same time (2012).

yah springgale still got alot .. but i think the competition for this school will be in 2cS :rotflmao:

Now Springdale already 71% TUR. Wonder if SC < 1km may have to ballot?! :scared:
Any speculation on Anchor Green Pri?

NCPS in SK is getting very hot as there are more & more flats/condos coming up <1km, & still have more coming up, so with more housing built up around the area, the demands will continue to grow until the surrounding area is built up, so those staying >1km can don’t even bother to try NCPS.

As for the demand in earlier phases not as high, don’t forget NCPS stopped accepting PV in 2014, that means only thru RC or Huey Kuan, so maybe we’re starting to see the effect for this year’s registration.

as anticipated - called SHPS - all 100 applns are SC within 1 km vying for that elusive 50 slots! 😞

Asking on behalf of a friend. What’s the status at Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Pri Sch? She registered her son under Phase 2C and she is within 1-2km

Any speculation on Anchor Green Pri?[/quote]Doesn't seem likely that Springdale would ballot at 1km. I would say TUR till end of 2C is 80%+ but given the \"hot\" area, it could exceed expectation.

Swing applicants from Nan Chiau should be using Rivervale (for better chance of balloting) and North Vista for alternative in 2C while 2Cs backup Springdale

It seems more limited to the sengkang green folks, back up for them should be springdale (should be 1-2km away) and fernvale (for both 2C and 2Cs)

Studying the catchment area for Sengkang/Punggol is very difficult. It's just too dense and close together.

                      All the best.

                        I’ve got a silly Q.

How is the TUR tracked on a daily basis? Isn’t TUR only determined upon completion of the Phase?
