2017 P1 Registration Exercise for 2018 In-Take
-
hi I currently stay at cantonment and cantonment primary is within 1km for me. RMPS and RVPS are 1-2km for me.
I also am an old school girl of Parry which merged with Xinghua and hence I can go xinghua under 2A2.
cantonment so far has no problem for SC under phase 2C and RVPS has balloting last year for 1-2km SC. Rmps is out…
but I’m not impressed by what I see in cantonment pri kiasu parents forum and yet I’m clueless about Xinghua Primary as there is nothing online…
I only know that Xinghua pri has a long history.
any advice or opinion for my case? -
Hi all, i am new here and preparing for next year registration for 2018 in-take.

Hi everyone! I’m new here. Son registering for p1 next year, we are aiming for Pei Hwa Presbyterian pri, will be within 1km. Monitoring this year’s stats closely…hope there’s no need for ballot. But this year is for tiger babies, may not be accurate. Anyone in the same area?

Pei Hwa is popular and tends to have balloting for less than 1KM. So you might want have back up plan if you want to avoid balloting.
As I have posted elsewhere, I had a friend who was going to try for it 2 years ago for her son but changed her mind at the last minute because partly over their concerns over Pei Hwa (SAP, HCL and lack of diversity) and partly over the strong likelihood of balloting.
She decided to go for Bukit Timah Primary where she hear good things from another parent who had 2 boys in there. So far they are quite happy with their choice. -
I see, thanks for the advice.im not very sure if they have PV scheme, but it's too late for it now anyway. Will see how t goes.

Hi Parents…am new to this forum and signed in particularly to learn and get as much experiences and advices on P1 registration.
Area: Queenstown
Schools aiming – Queenstown Primary (within 1km) or CHIJ Kellock (under Phase 2B, Catholic)

Any advice or helpful information on the two schools I am looking at?
Thanks -

Queenstown Pri is not at risk of balloting in Phase 2C. You can go ahead in Phase 2C if it is your preferred choice.Hi Parents...am new to this forum and signed in particularly to learn and get as much experiences and advices on P1 registration.

It depends on your choice really, personally I would choose CHIJ for their affiliation.
