Hi,

Due to the school shifting to temporary site next year, according to school bus transport, Ming Yang, currently, they are unable to quote us the school bus fee. However, they asked to check with them in Mid November.

HIPS conducted a survey whereby Min Yang has a few pickup points from Hougang going to the holding school next year. If there are enough kids who signed up then this service will happen. I remember 1 of the pickup point is around Blk 322 hg ave 5 and the other one is Blk 8++ near hg central. Buss fee is around $95 I think.

Currently, HIPS does not have in-house student care but there are 2 student care centres located outside the school. They are Morning Star and Careland.


We still have no idea who will be the one operating the in house student care at AMK site. School mentioned that we can register in October. Have to wait patiently. Hee Hee!!!

are you referring to glaceland at hougang CC ?? it is opp my mom place and was thinking of signing up for my boy but my mom said it is closing for renovation ... pity

btw are you a FTWM ? if send the kid to outside school student care , how do you arrange the logic ??

i am toying with idea to send my boy to hougang ave 6 pro teach but worry about arranging the logic to AMK

Yes. The graceland at hougang CC. They stopped their operation end of June. Heard that the renovation will be done after 2 years and that will be the time where HIPS moves back to their original site.


I used to be a FTWM but now work freelance so I can fetch my girl to school. Last time, I sent my elder girl to Graceland in the morning then I left for work. Graceland will take care of her by letting her do assessment books/past year exam papers (near to term test), learning spelling & tingxie etc. After lunch, the teachers will bring them to school. Then, ard 6.30pm I will pick her from school.

As for the Pro-teach at Hougang Ave 6, you better check with them as mostly operate in 1 session which is afternoon. In hougang area, only left HIPS is operated in double session. Hence, they will not open in the morning.

my mom say hougang cc is trying to convert it into elder + children care area ..so shutting down for renovation. then graceland did not find any temp site ?

u mean they will bring them to school .. that is very good ... then i can consider that .. after they move back to current premise .. my worry is always on logistic
