Lol… probably too much influence fr watching romantic dramas…feel that parents should restrict kids fr such romantic dramas …kids will tink that so nice to be in a relationship…haha…but now living in the internet age…hard to monitor.
Back to psle… good luck! -

lessons going on as per normal.janet88:
I was super pissed with daughter's friends sms-ing her about decorating the classroom today. out of the blue yesterday, she wanted to buy balloons. 发花痴 does bug me and I've warned her that if this continues, I am going to confiscate her phone. PSLE is round the corner and there is homework from school to be completed.
Teacher's Day celebration today and the kids may want to show their appreciation to their teachers by decorating their classroom. I think it's ok if not a frequent event and the kids need a break now and then too. Don't worry too much.
I have made appreciation cards for the teachers. -

It happened in my DD school aswell last month, some children sharing sexual content in their whatsapp messages and texting till late night (2am). Informed the school teacher and restricted my DD phone though she is not at fault. what to do? No choice. But she understood that she should not be distracted with all these non sense and improve in her marks. If only I can ward these type of troublemaker girls off with garlic!
Edit to add: referring to the bgr busybodies -

Not for our school. We had our only PTM in Term 1.
I think you can always email the Teachers for feedback. -

chill Janet88. My DD also spend the whole week making 100+ handmade flowers for her teachers since last Sunday. The kids sometimes need a break too.....I don't expect my gal to outperform for PSLE, just maintain that consistent self would suffice.janet88:

Am sure he does not feel good...he will work harder...
My dd told me she cried in class when she got back her science paper, much below her expectations.
Looks like science paper is tough.

PSLE is so close :nailbite: . Right after the 1 week holiday will be the PSLE LC exams. Then 2 weeks later, the PSLE written papers. Knowing how time flies, it will be here in no time :scared:
Better than expected Prelim results -> +ve : boost the confidence; -ve: may lead to complacency
Less than ideal Prelim results -> -ve : demoralising ; +ve: kids work harder
Mine belongs to the complacency group :stompfeet:
Prelim =/= PSLE
some do better at prelims, some do better at PSLE. Hopefully, they all peak at the PSLE :xedfingers:

Your ds must be gd-looking to attract so many bees. Wait till they enter sec 1. My dd told me that bgr is very common in this co-ed sch that my dd's ex-classmates are in. :shock:If only I can ward these type of troublemaker girls off with garlic!

That's why it will be all boys sec sch for my ds. My ds is blur like sotong. Asked him where the girls in his class dsa to. “Don't know\". Asked him the girls' names (only 8 of them) in his class. \"Now I know\". :faint:
