      hquek:
      1 word: Disappointing!

Mainly adult non-fiction (think coffee table type books). Some kids stuff (more for young young children). DVDs, CDs. Stationery items. even saw household type items like designer hangers, door stoppers.
Solli, a bit lost here šŸ˜„

      Book fair? Where? Borders?

Borders sale at Expo (Hall 6B). Start today.

No point going unless you're staying near expo - go to normal store can already.

Prices: same as what you would find in Borders stores. No pleasant surprises.

Best part was that Metro sale (a few exhibition halls away) was also selling dvds, cds and I understood that prices is better (not sure about selection).

Result: didn't buy anything and walked out after 10 min. waste of time. :x
          :thankyou: for the info!

Now don't need to crack head how to convince DH to go there... heng ah!

btw, as an associated information, the harvey norman sale (so called Tech expo or dunnowat) also nothing much to see. Hall is fairly small - I see a lot of tv (1 section devoted to 3D tv), computers, and cameras.

I heard there was $99 blu ray dvd player...but obviously must be very limited stocks. Cos everything else there was about the same as what I see in stores (and at times more ex than other stores).

And Metro sale going on about the same time. This one can go - crocs shoes (for kids range from $20-25). More for household type things/clothings etc.

So glad I didn't take leave and yet go to expo today. Else I sure :stupid: :stupid: for wasting petrol.
