There's a question that ask for a similar word to \"thrive\" as in \"the plant thrives...\"

Is the answer \"flourish\" or \"bloom\"?
I checked for synonyms and found both as the answer! Any expert can help?

thrive
θrʌɪv/
verb
verb: thrive; 3rd person present: thrives; past tense: thrived; past tense: throve; gerund or present participle: thriving; past participle: thriven
(of a child, animal, or plant) grow or develop well or vigorously.
\"the new baby thrived\"
prosper; flourish.
\"education groups thrive on organization\"
synonyms:\tflourish, prosper, grow vigorously, develop well, burgeon, bloom, blossom, do well, advance, make strides, succeed; More
antonyms:\tdecline, wither, fail, stagnate, die, moribund, dying, unhealthy

I'm no expert but I think should be flourish.

Flourish.
Answer: flourish
(Check the dictionary, not the thesaurus in this kind of situation.)

DD chose flourish. According to her, plants don't bloom.

She's right. Plants don't bloom. Flowers do.

Qns: The guest arrives early. The host panic.
Ans: With.....

Anyone knows the answer?

Not sure if this is correct:
With the early arrival of the guest, the host panic.

The guest came early and the host panicked.

DS write about telling a secret and causing one person to be dismissed from a position. He hinted in the compo that he realised he did the wrong thing. BUT...he never reveal what is the secret that caused such an impact! :slapshead: Is he out of topic or will he be heavily panelised ? I did not probe it or comment further. Just wanted to get a sense here 😓
