After watching the Mindstretcher video, I am quite disturbed as the questions asked are tricky. Those who have been exposed to MO questions definitely will have an advantage.

              Hi

For synthesis and transformation marking, if the whole sentence is correct except one word is wrong, e.g correct word is was dealing, but put dealt instead. Will 1 marks be giving?

              Thanks!

I think the correct answer is \"The way Ginny dealt with the problem showed her courage.\" based on my experience in the exam.

Perhaps the Mindstretcher tutor was transforming based on \"While dealing\", hence he stuck to the past progressive tense. But the given words were \"The way\". \"The way\" already encapsulates the process/manner of \"dealing\", so maybe \"dealt\" is acceptable.

I bought the MO books from popular and taught dd from P1. I tried to do at least a few questions a day.

When the questions got tougher, i sent her to Maths Hub in P4. In P5, she told me she has lost interest in MO and i stopped the class. I think interest is necessary to motivate the child to continue to learn.

Let's not discuss any maths ans anymore so as not to make more dads & mums here feel even more tense.
Let's all move on from here & countdown to 2/3 more papers.

                        Cheers.
