Hi,
Any one know what are the chances of getting into MGS for non-affiliated students? Does the school set aside a certain number of places for outside students?
Thanks -
Hi, I would like to have a copy of MGS SA2 2013 and 2015 English exam papers with answers. Appreciate it, if whoever has these can share with me.
Thanks. -
Hi. My dd has accepted MGS’ dsa offer for the IB prog. I was looking through the booklist and realised quite alot of big books to buy. Wondering if it is necc to buy all the books as the experience from my elder child’s school ( different sch) is that some of the textbooks could literally be untouched at the end of the one year. Can anyone advise, based on your dd’s experience, which texts must buy and which can be omited for the time being?
Thanks! -
Hi! Anyone knows the class size of the SBA programme versus the IP class? Is it the same? With the high school fees, do they get better teachers and resources? Appreciate if anyone can share with me. Thanks in advance:)

What is the advantage of IB? Will students from IB program usually go overseas for university study or they can also enter local universities? Thanks!

are there any distinct advantage(s) of students from IB program entering local universities, compared to students from the GCE "A" level ?

Students from IB are welcomed by local universities as they are well-trained in fine-tuning on projects and are experienced in ironing out differences while working with different teams. These are attributes that local universities strongly favor. -

Apart from being more experienced in project and team work which local universities favor, IB program allows assessment of an individual's abilities throughout the year whereas A level relies on a one-time examination to determine a student's abilities.
