zbear:
PSLE result release is a very exciting event as it's both parents n students first taste of their emotions for national exams.

I went through both happy n disappointed feelings for both my kids.

Enjoy the experience be it sad or happy. It will make u a stronger person moving forward.

      Good Luck to all P6ers.

      :xedfingers:
      which one more exciting ?
release PSLE results, or release O level results, or release A level results ?
I guess the school will get the results ahead of Thursday. Otherwise how the teachers have time to prepare slides for the P's briefing, right ?

daughter's teacher told me they only get to know the results on the day it is formally released. most probably, they will know in the morning.

4 years ago, hubby and I waited in the canteen...the wait was torturous.

Thanks, janet88. I can imagine even the P's talk, parents also don't really pay attention

So the teachers will leave it to the child to open the sealed envelope or the teacher will tell the child the scores? I guess it depends on the practice of the school, right? Similarly to the recent practices in many schools, they even stopped asking top 10 pupils up stage.
The teacher will not tell the students rhe scores.

3 more days to go......So-near-yet-so-far feeling..... :nailbite:

DD needs to be in school by 10.30 am this Thursday. I am getting jittery. Same feeling like 2 PSLEs ago. It doesn't get easier.

This is my first psle experience. But I am feeling kind of "resign to fate" and not feeling nervous… Probably cos both myself and wife have been telling dd whatever the outcome, we have to accept n move on… Maybe when we are at the hall later this Thur, the feeling of anxiety may appear.

Yeah... That's exactly my feeling now.

Hoping for the best but expecting the worst. Let the man up there decide on son's fate.
