Hi Ming Wen,
Happy to share my experience. Welcome to Nan Hua Primary. There will be CCA open house early next year. Do visit with your child so that you will know what's available and ask questions.Ming Wen:
Dear Ski, thank you very much for the reply!ski:
My child is P5 next year. Results no doubt is important but there is also a balanced emphasis on values, social skills, project management and teamwork. There will be many projects that the children will get to do throughout their journey in Nan Hua which will help to build their confidence and leadership skills. CCA is also pretty strong in Nan Hua especially wushu, chinese dance and table tennis.
[quote=\"Ming Wen\"]Dear Parents! My boy is entering P1 next year
Just attended the P1 orientation last Saturday. Would like to know from parents of students currently studying in NHPS, does the school only focus on results?
It's good to know that NHPS don't just focus on results as academics are not everything.

Hi Ski,
How do you get info on Nanhua pri open house date? Is this open to public?
We are interested to send our son to NH (born in 2014) so trying to get more info on this but not sure the best way to get updated.
Thanks
Regards,

Hi Willy,
The CCA open house is for current students only so that they can select and registet for the CCA that they prefe. I don't think it is open to public. The students will be informed of the open house date via circular or e-notice. But do check with the school office if they have any programs or talks open to public.epyonxp:

Hi epyonxp, ski, 2016 CCA Open House was on 09 Jan, Sat, 0900-1100 hours. The school invites members of the public (generally residents in the vicinity, flyers are distributed in the neighbourhood I suppose?) during its Mid-Autumn Festival celebration. 2016 Mid-Autumn Festival took place on 16 Sep, Fri, 1800-2100 hours. Mid-Autumn Festival celebration: performance - usually includes recitation of εΌεθ§; ex-P, Mrs Neo, sang karaoke once if I'm not mistaken; foc lanterns & mini mooncakes; activity booths on Art Appreciation, ηη―θ°, Tea Appreciation, Traditional/Interactive Games.

Hi Ski
Many thanks for the info on CCA! My boy is rather interested in Wushu so we look forward to it next year
Just to check, I understand it's not compulsory to join a CCA for P1 students. If he doesn't join any CCA, can he join in P2 or P3 onwards?ski:

Hi parents. Heard from DCβs teacher that there is the optional Math Olympiad training from P3 onwards, by an external vendor and held within school compound after school hours. Any parents have feedback on the training? Who is the vendor and howβs the quality compared to signing up for MO outside (example with Mathshub?)?
Would like DC to go for MO training but not sure which one to go for. Thank you. -
hi! any updates on the new principal? this will likely be my first choice for myDS
