Does MOE announce whether 2016 scores were higher or lower, on average, than 2015 scores? How are parents supposed to help their children select schools if they don't know what the trend is from 2015 to 2016?

Other than the 98.4% passing in 2016 vs. 98.3% passing in 2015 (not a big difference at all), does anyone out there have any other evidence that the average scores went up from 2015 to 2016? (At my son's school, they did not provide any statistics comparing the school in 2015 vs. 2016 or comparing the school versus the overall Singaporean population at all...) Not knowing this information is like driving blind in the selection process...

DD 266+2. NJC or RGS ? Never go to RGS open hse because didn’t expect my DD to score above 255. Anyone can share your RGS open house exp? Is it a stressful school? Any feedback on NJC vs RGS? She is offered EESIS, is this only for 1st year if she chooses an independent school? Thanks

Congrats. EESIS is for 6 years but needs to have good conduct.

Exactly, while some parents have reported 260 scores it is no proof that the COP has come up or down! I do see that lot of schools in my neighborhood has dropped drastically when compared to last year.

I saw some discussions on last year results where there was a poll to see if the results have met the expectations or exceeded the expectations. It will be helpful if we create a similar poll for this year. Wondering how can that be done for this year results ? Any ideas anyone .

Results of poll not reflective of the entire P6 cohort students who had sat for 2016 Psle, not accurate, because not every p6 parentwhose child has sat for 2016 psle, join ksp forum

Congrats on your DD's excellent results. RGS is a very good school n it will be a waste if you don't try. It's not easy to get a score of 266 so I am sure your DD is able to cope with the highly competitive, enriching n challenging circulum from RGS. It's also not easy to get into RGS and a lot of students want to get in.

BTW, I am not promoting RGS but I have seen the 'end products' of the school and I believe it's worth having an education in the Raffles family of schools.

                    Hi

My daughter scored 261. May I know her chances of getting into RGS?
