Enrichment r optional. Even pcf also provide enrichment at extra cost. It really dep on child’s development n interest. I didn’t sign my son up for any enrichment last term but he told me he’s interested to learn science. I’ll review after meeting his teacher end of term. Basically I find his reading ability ok for P1

Can anyone confirm whether there has been a change of Principal at PCF Blk 125, Serangoon Ave 1. Think its called SPICE PCF or something.


Also, if you have any information with regards to curriculum and teachers, would appreciate some input.

1) are school fee standard at $200 / mth?
2) at K1 level, what should the teacher be teaching now ( term 2)?

i m asking because my DD in this pcf kindergarten (TPY) still pratice writing letters a,b,c only...

i m seriously considering to transfer DD to other kindergarten if needed.

The school will send letter and email (if you hv provide) to remind you the date to purchase school uniform and socks (optional). PS: unless the school has planned to change their curriculum, lots of parents have been complaining their kidz cant catch up in P1.

Hi pinan, can I know how is the sch at blk 6 like? Cos I'm also intending to register my dd there this sat. She's going to be in N1/PN.

Is there a lot of homework, activities? How are the teachers like? What about the programme? From your post, can I say that the sch does not prepare the children well for p1?

Hi people, am new here! Now looking for a childcare centre for my boy and after surfing around, saw this PCF Ayer Rajah. Seems like they can take in 18month old kids. Any parents have kids at this branch? Fees is $590 with GST excluding subsidy. I thought most PCFs charge around $150. Would appreciate any advice! Actually, i still cannot decide whether to send my boy to a mainstream or a montessori centre. Both have their pros and cons and i’m trying to keep an open mind here…

Are you talking about childcare or kindergarten? $150 is for kindergarten/nursery.

SPIES, i'm talking about childcare. Opps, pardon me, didn't occur to me that the fees are applicable to kindergarten *blur* I saw on the government website that PCF Ayer Rajah takes in children 18 months and above but did not come across any reviews or comments on this branch. So i'm looking at the wrong place since this thread is about PCF kindergarten? Sigh~
