Any feedback on Nanyang Kindy from parents whose children are in there now?I would like to know how ready for P1 are the children and whether their English prog does help kids read and write. Because with much emphasis on chinese, do the kids still pick up enough in English? Asking for a friend who can’t decide between St James Kindy and Nanyang. She heard Nanyang is more academic and St James help kids to be more creative and to think out of the box. But she is not sure which to choose and has signed up for both for now…

I am thinking of enrolling my son in the Gymnastics enrichment class for Nursery. Any parents have experience or feedback regarding the classes? Just curious, if my son makes the cut for the gymnastics class, is there any possibility of enrolling in NYPS via this route? I do not have kind of priority qualification, i.e. Siblings, alumni etc.

For the other enrichment classes like English or Chinese Speech and Drama, are there any recommendations for any of these classes?

Hi mirage

My gal went for the gym class for one term but she didn’t like it. Came back telling me it’s painful so I cancelled the class. It doesn’t give you priority to go NYPS.

She tried English speech and drama because we thought she will enjoyed the class. There is generally no feedback from the enrichment classes unless you call and ask. It’s more for her to have fun.

She is taking Hanyu Pinyin and Abacus now. More for exposure
