My son said that at assembly a few days ago, Principal said that 23.6% got at least 8 distinctions and 56% (somewhere there, he remembered it is 50+%) got at least 6 distinctions. Note that number of students who took Os last year was halved as the other half are in IP, so every student "represents" 2 students in previous years.

Hi All
Any of your DS in NCC Land or NCC Air, can share the good and the bad about both? Thanks. -
Hi, FYI - the frequencies of the different cca can be found in the ASKnLearn portal…

Hi, I have a question on the Cca pre-selection list which is resleased today in ask n learn. What does the ranking no denote? Is it where the boy stand in terms of how much the cca wants him?
-
sort of. meaning that if his ranking is higher, the higher the chance he has to get into that cca compared to others.

Thank you snggy! He chose Chinese Orchestra but surprisingly he was not on the list though he joined CO in primary school. Can he still put CO as first choice?
-
My son also in the same situation. Since it is ranking, it means that they are simply not chosen because there are others who are better than our kids. Quite sad hor. I share your thoughts. Yes, he can still put CO as his first choice but you have to know that the chances are low. My boy is into sports but never got selected at all even too even though he represented school for national competition for 3 years. We will still choose it as first choice since it is still his first love.
