2017 P1 Registration Exercise for 2018 In-Take

nat07:
yes, you have to withdraw your 2A first but if you miss the chance to get into the school near your parents, then you would not be able to get back a place in your former school.
Should I confirm a place in my former primary school first and then try to ballot into the school next to my parent's place? -
floppy:
Do note that using your parent's address as a caregiver, you will be under the 1-2km category even though school is just beside your parent's place. If ballot for that school happens only for within 1km historically, you have zero chance then.
You can only hold one registration at any one time.nat07:

You will have to withdraw from your former school before you are allowed to ballot to the school next to your parent's place. -
Fellow Kiasu parents, I want to get your opinion on my P1 registration strategy.
The only school with 1km of where we live is Kong Hwa. Not eligible for anything in 2A or 2B so will shoot for 2C. Our priority is distance to school, followed by strength of the school.
What I’m planning of doing is to go for 2C balloting at Kong Hwa. If we don’t get it then aim for 2CS at Tanjong Katong Pri which is 1-2km. The caveat is that there is risk of not being able to get in Tanjong Katong in 2CS…
Any thoughts? -

If distance is your only criteria then there are not many other alternatives for you, other than perhaps Geylang Methodist which should be within your range too. I would say that your strategy is sound.Fellow Kiasu parents, I want to get your opinion on my P1 registration strategy.

ChiefKiasu:
Both Tanjong Katong and Geylang Methodist historically are quite safe for Phase 2CS, so you can go ahead to ballot for Kong Hwa in Phase 2C. All the best!

Hi there,
I need advice, I am interested in touring some schools eg. Bukit Timah Pri, Pei Tong, Pei Hwa. I’d like to know how I should go about arranging such a tour?
I am also a GRL at Sunset Way RC, my question is, how does this differ already from my current 1-2km radius criteria? eg. I am within 1km of Bukit Timah Primary, I would be eligible for phase 2B2 instead of phase 3? sorry if I got all the phase-ing wrong, still getting my head around this.
Also, how do I know which schools are in my GRC area? is it also under the 2km rule of what?
Thank you in advance, -
Yes, you have totally misunderstood the definition of different phases.
It will do you good to read and understand the different phases first.

Every year, P1 registration begin in July.
June is school holiday. Nobody start P1 Registration, during school holiday.Justbear:
