Travel: Japan - Tokyo & Disneyland

I went Tokyo late Nov last year with kids aged 6-10yo. Free & easy. Stayed at Keio Plaza Hotel, which is about 5 mins walk from Shinjuku Station. The hotel offers free shuttle to/fro Disneyland & Disneysea (reservations required). It has recently undergone renovation, so the rooms are clean. Many convenience stores and eateries around the hotel, so no worries about food.


By the way, local tours operate on the dot (usually earlier!), so best to wait at departure points earlier. I booked local tours directly with local tour operators via email. For Disneysea, bought tickets directly from the ticket booths outside Disneysea (advise to go way earlier than opening time). We spent one whole day at Disneysea, took most of the rides, but wasn’t able to catch some shows.

I’ve intention of bringing my gal to Tokyo in December but am totally clueless about planning. Is the weather ok cos its December and I’m afraid will be super cold.

is it safe to go tokyo? my friends have been telling me not to go… everywhere in japan is affected by radiation not only fuki…

tokyo is fine. we also went to nagano for skiing

We are thinking to travel to Tokyo with our 2 kids in Dec… is it available to travel F&E or packaged tour?

Is it easy to travel by ourselves in Tokyo? What about their local land tour?
