I dunno! You’ll have to keep your fingers crossed. Maybe you can seek a transfer to Commerce after successfully getting into Science?

H2 Econs should be doable, if you have good notes and perhaps get a tutor?

Why didn’t you consider Accounting? You don’t like to be an accountant? I think it’s better than going to Science Faculty. Unless you wanna be a Science teacher in Primary School?

Did you check the other 3 unis’ requirements for Science faculties? UniSim…

I have researched everything about University and I have my plans thought out even back-up plans. My parents said that they fully support me and are willing to provide tutors as Long as I have the drive to work hard. Yes, I mm not very interested with accounting.

THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BEING PATIENT AND TAKING THE TIME TO HELP ME 🙂 :thankyou: 😄 😄

OK that's the most important thing to know: Willing to provide tutors. You will succeed if you engage dedicated private tutors.

H2 Bio and Chem...Oh no...😓 You should know candidates taking these 2 subjects are gunning for Med Sch, i.e. to become doctors, if not some clinical scientist or biomed/chem enggr ...

Can you do a bit of background check on MI's Bio and Chem results/quality passes, as well as the quality and reputation of their lecturers?

C6 for A and E Maths? Oh no...not good enough if your E Math wasn't even a B. You definitely need a private tutor to coach you on H2 Math for 3 years.
Very true. (+1) Firstly, H2 Chem is indeed one of the tougher science subjects, probably due to the med school effect.

From my experience, even students scoring B3 or A2 in A Maths can struggle (quite badly) in H2 Maths. C6 in both E / A Maths indicates weak foundation, and possibly requires working twice as hard to catch up.

That being said, technically nothing is impossible, and your willingness to try is commendable. Good luck and all the best.

              Hi jetsetter/floppy,

Thanks for the valuable info you have provided to stick man. I’ve been reading.
Sciences, GP, Math and MT will be killer subjects for my son.

That sounds like just about all the subjects! Are you reconsidering the MI route?

yes...there might be a change of plan...because GP and MT will be his killer subjects.

                      Thanks...appreciate.
Most prob there will be a change of plan. Unless he gets posted to one of his poly choices, we will appeal...he has decided not to go to MI because GP and MT will be killer subjects.

Did he put MI as his first choice? He might get it if his score meets its minimum cutoff as I don't think MI is ever \"full\". You may have to prepare to appeal.
