hi i got 11 points after subtracting bonus point and i get into srjc which is my second choice. T T i really want to get into mjc whos cop is 10 and they state on their website that only students who meet their cop can appeal...TT do i stand a chance if i try to appeal?

According to Dd's friend , the cop for mjc this year is 11 . If that is so , u do meet the criteria and u do stand a chance . I don't know how reliable is this so I would suggest that u call up the school to check the cop for this year again . All the best !

I don't think anyone would be able to provide you an answer on his chances. As long as his score is below the COP, he stands a chance. Whether the poly accepts him into the course will depend on other factors:
- cohort size for the course
- popularity of the course
- suitability*

*Likely to have interview for some courses.

Under the JAE appeal site, the remaining choice are the ones he wanted. Now, i have to wait till 9/2 for a peace of mind. So stressed. If only we had let son decide and take ownership at the beginning, this wouldn't have happened.

son got into MI commerce.
but we are in the process of trying to appeal. based on the 2017 cop for the 3 appeal courses, cop for 2 courses have dropped from 21 to 19 :nailbite: son's score is now only 1-2 points below those courses.
what are his chances? please advise. thanks.

All the best to your son. Where did you get the 2017 COP for the poly courses? I would like to check out the courses that my daughter applied to (she's not JAE). I wonder how long they will make us wait before they let us know.

But hor, if you donch try, definitely nothing will change. So just get on with the appeal and hope for the best!!
