All the best to your son. Where did you get the 2017 COP for the poly courses? I would like to check out the courses that my daughter applied to (she's not JAE). I wonder how long they will make us wait before they let us know.i think this thread would be more appropriate to make queries.
son got into MI commerce.
but we are in the process of trying to appeal. based on the 2017 cop for the 3 appeal courses, cop for 2 courses have dropped from 21 to 19 :nailbite: son's score is now only 1-2 points below those courses.
what are his chances? please advise. thanks. -

Really couldn't think of anything comforting to say!!
Asking you or Nebbermind for advice gives me peace of mind.
Under the JAE appeal site, the remaining choice are the ones he wanted. Now, i have to wait till 9/2 for a peace of mind. So stressed. If only we had let son decide and take ownership at the beginning, this wouldn't have happened.
But hor, if you donch try, definitely nothing will change. So just get on with the appeal and hope for the best!! -
Hi, dd got posted to AJC with 8 nett points. Not too sure on how to feel about this. Is AJC actually good? Pls help thanks.

Isn't it that the awardee of the humanities program with scholarship can get the extra 2 points, which means total 6 points can be deducted? My tutee got into Raffles Humanities Programme with L1R5 of 6 with a scholarship awarded. He did triple science combination ar non-affiliated top school. No further discount on L1R5.
So the COP of 4 for Raffles was most likely not accurate ..
Earlier SMSs from mum is under \"results\" of https://home-tuition.sg Mum also sent copy of posting since this 7am+ (not published) ...
I am aware of other exceptions under DSA, some with L1R5 way off this guide...
..still, :congrats: to those who worked hard and got in to their choices. -

Hi Janet, you may go to http://www.polytechnic.edu.sg
For appeal, click JAE APPEAL at the bottom of the page
For the 2017 COP of all the polytechnics' courses, click the VIEW COURSES in the green box at the right side. Alternatively, you may click http://www.polytechnic.edu.sg/introduction/available-courses

Could it be that your tutee has 2 bonus marks deducted for CCA - so net is 4, which is the COP for Raffles.

Excuse my ignorance. I had thought the max points ( or at least for most people) is 2 points? where does the 4 &6 points come from?
