2018 P1 registration exercise for 2019 intake

Feijing:
i got one 2012 dragon boy as well. aiming for nan chiau primary school. anyone knows if the school still open for PV ?
Nan Chiau Primary does not have a PV scheme. While you can either join the Grassroots or the clan if you intend to enter via Phase 2B, those routes are already closed for 2018 P1 registration.
I am afraid balloting within 1km for Phase 2C is your only bet. -
floppy:
Please prepare a backup school. You can either jump to that school at the end of Phase 2C registration if the odds in Nan Chiao are not in your favor, or go through the balloting in Phase 2C in Nan Chiau and only go to the \"safe\" school in Phase 2C Sup if you get balloted out.Feijing:

That is right. Nan Chiau no more PV. Only left with grassroots for 2B. But it is now too late liao.Feijing:

Can try your luck at 2C.

i hv a dragon boy & 2015 girl, aiming for Nan Chiau which is juz across the road... but damn stress by e look of previous balloting... dont know which school will be good if unsuccessful, Anchor Green? Springdale?

Bianz:
Springdale will most probably ballot in P2Cs. If you are within 1km, you may be safe. Otherwise, there will be one more round of stress.i hv a dragon boy & 2015 girl, aiming for Nan Chiau which is juz across the road... but damn stress by e look of previous balloting... dont know which school will be good if unsuccessful, Anchor Green? Anchor Green would be the safer bet. -

u meant Springdale more popular than Anchor Green? -
n not forgetting we still need to apply for after school student care (limited slot) for those unable to pick kids after school…

should you be unsuccessful in phase 2C, your back up school must be very safe or else you will have another round of stress.

Hi,
Just wondering if popular schools will increase their intake (e.g. 1 more class for example) for the dragon year compared to the rest of the normal years? Are there such cases?
Thank you. -
altiora:
Nope, because the infrastructure of a school (i.e. the number of classrooms) are not scalable. Plus, there are more than enough schools to go around (but they may not necessarily be popular).Hi,
