My wife and I registered our daughter into Balestier Hill Primary School in Novena for P1 next year.

We just learnt the school bus will not come where we live (Tanjong Rhu Rd). Any parent who are in the

similar boat with school bus not covering your area?

I am looking for advice on any private bus who will assist us in picking my kid from Tanjong Rhu Road and

Drop at Balestier Primary in Novena?

Car pooling etc?

Can someone advice us please. we are foreigners and have little understanding of the system here.

I am a S’pore PR living in Novena and hence Balestier Hill Primary school is one of the obvious choice for my daughter. My daughter is still young and I do have time in hand before I have to select a Primary school for her. However, I wanted to get feedback from expat parents whose kids are studying in Balestier Hill Primary as to what their experience have been.

I hear that there are children from many different nationalities/countries studying here - Is that true? I would like my daughter to be in a multi-cultural environment.
Are there plenty of extra curricular activities in school - sports, arts, music ? I’m looking for a school which provides a healthy mix between studies and other activities.
I understand Its fairly easy to get admission intros school - is that true? and Why so?
