      Grandyma:

It's ok to post about EJC dressed down day here.
But you mentioned about NYJC starts later and will 'end very much later'. Then you mentioned that EJC 8am starting time (you think) is quite a good time ( that's your view ). So you sing praise for EJC and downplay NYJC starting time.
There is no need to pass such comment. You said something and yet have another meaning

In your latest post, Now you mentioned college will 'end later'. Your previous post was 'very much later'. Changed your words often.
      Don't Assume.

Nobody here is afraid EJC 'siphon' students. Dont Assume again.
Just that, the news about EJC you posted showed you are hard selling EJC.
Whatever you think the high goals EJC set,
      post in EJC forum.
      Just dont assume.
I think that you need to live life not being over suspicious, critical and sensitive. I am sure you will be much happier not needing to ponder over every single word a person writes and arduously looking for \"hidden\" meanings in every sentence when there is none.

What is your point of bringing up \"EJC starts at 8pm \" (btw I presume you mean 8am instead of 8am, because I don't think EJ has night classes :rotflmao: )?
So you have to be sarcastic just because I made a typo error ?

Though the duration for each subject at H1, H2 and H3 levels are fixed by MOE, most students may have CCAs, twice or thrice a week, In the end, most students will see themselves going back at 7 to 8, no difference to whether lessons end early or late, on the basis that CCA starts at the regular evening period.
If the lesson start later, it must end later...what do you mean by \"no difference\" whether lessons end early or late ? If lesson start earlier, CCA can start earlier and end earlier, no ?

EJC has chartered buses? All the taxpayers' monies have gone to such use? Sighs
Why must you always try to spin blatant lies ? The EJC students have to pay for the bus fees, it is not paid for by the school. A leopard seldom change its spots.

True, now I know why the pot calls the kettle black, it indeed reflects your character based on your \"helpful\" and \"constructive\" posts. Practise what you preach, provide posts that can benefit the community. It disgusts me, especially if you were from an \"elite\" school, I hope this is not the behaviour of a RI graduate (otherwise, it is very much a disgrace) :xedfingers:
I would not stoop so low to resort to personal attacks like you do. This is not because I come from a \"elite schoo\"l but because it's part of fundamental human decency and a person's upbringing.

If you have read the posts you have written since page 1 of this NYJC forum, you would have discovered that what you have written above truly describe yourself.

The issue is, why are you harping on whether the majority take 4h2 or 3h2 and 1 h1. As said, it is up to an individual choice. Will you then disagree with me if I say more than 9 out of 10 students in RI, HCI and VJC take 4H2?
I just wanted to verify the facts because I have seen many times you have provided \"facts\" from dubious sources.. So was just checking where are your sources.

As to the term \"majority\", it could mean 50.1% to 99.9%. Politicians and spin doctors especially like to use such euphemisms when they want to sugar coat a fact that is not to their advantage.

Thanks for clarifying and I am relieved that EJCians have to fork out their own money for the chartered buses. Fortunately. Are you sure that CCA starts earlier or \"can\" start earlier? Don't give false information. From EJC website, the badminton boys have Monday trainings at 6pm! And it ends at 8pm, way past the dinner time. Are you then suggesting that school in EJC ends at 6? (since you said, school ends early, cca starts early)http://eunoiajc.moe.edu.sg/students/ccas/badminton/
Other examples include Floorball and even Squash! How do you justify then?

Has it ever dawned on to you that you were the one who started with the personal attacks by saying \"You seem to be describing yourself. LOL\"? I mean, was that statement you made constructive or necessary?

By the words of mouth and parents from the respective JCs. zbear (sorry for dragging you in) has a DC in HCI, I believe she will agree with me that more than 90% of HCI students take 4h2.

And I was only reflecting to you how apt the description seems to suit you.

The problem with you is you like grab a fact and spin it out of context. And I believe that's the reason people here do not trust what you post.

You are not in EJC, neither is your child. You read from website at face value and decides that's the truth and post. Similarly, you have posted many comments about the other JCs, NJC , RV, TJC, DHS etc which many here have disputed and said they were blatant lies.

Firstly, how many days does CCA takes in a week ? In general, 1x for clubs and societies and 1-2x for sports. So the other 3 to 4 days when schools end early, the students can go home early, no?

There is a reason why some CCAs starts late. That is because they have to wait for team members that is taking Chinese ( these students did not take Higher Chinese at O level). Chinese lessons are usually scheduled late in the day so as not too impact the rest of the cohort. However, this restriction in CCA times will be gone once they passed the Chinese exam

So please do not give false information and spin lies in this forum, especially on other JCs when you or your child did not studied there.
