I’d say RGS has more top students than HCI, but both are great schools.

            RGS classrooms are airconed.

Power up your future with high quality small group tuition.

              for Upper Secondary (3 and 4) -

which independent IP school's (Physics and Bio) Teachers able to teach or explain concepts clearer, teach the students more depth, that is, able to go deeper in content, in both Theory & in projects involvement ?
              RGS or NYGH ?

(both IP school fees : around $ 300/month, can hire their own Tr from outside with relevant industry experience, not necessarily must be only from MOE.

Thus, the IP curriculum taught in both independent schools : how different or in contrast to that from government Or aided IP schools, whose sch fees around $ 30/ month ?)

Physics / Bio Teachers or staff involved in teaching or planning the IP curriculum, in both These 2 schools, are u able to shed more light ? Thanks

I don’t think you can do a Apple-to-Apple comparison. Teachers hired by both schools may come and go. Example, current students enjoy Teacher B’s lessons but when your DD enters the school, she may not be taught by Teacher B. Within the school itself, there are very experienced and not so experienced teachers. If your child is lucky, she gets the teacher who can teach and explain very clearly and your child will enjoy the lessons. The child can’t choose the teachers, unlike tuition centres where you can request to change class because your DD enjoys so and so teacher’s lessons more. Teachers are like students, some are more hardworking, some are more caring, some are more passionate in learning/teaching.

One difference between these two girls schools, is :-

for those who cannot cope with IP academic rigour -
Nanyang Girls High open at least some O level classes, while RGS doesn’t open any O level class.

If your daughter is weak, which do u think, is better ?

If your child is weak, why would you choose to go to either school?
