Was waiting for the school bus together with DS this morning. He told me he has no supp class today so he will be home early. Then told me he will do some math SA2 papers this afternoon. After thinking awhile, he said maybe he should do more practises in unit transfer method. He said he was taught that in school but he still cannot quite grasp it.


Told him to google that, there should be some videos available, explaining the basics of how to apply that method. If still cannot quite grasp it, no sweat, can still use the method that he is most confident with.

Sa1 is round the corner. If your children are not using DSA, take the exam as a revision. Don’t get burnt out.

With time being constraint,Would like to get idea which top school papers are challenging for each subjects, so can make kid do that paper instead of doing easy papers.

Each has his own preference but for English, you may try girl schools' papers like MGS and SCGS.
Maths, try Cath High.
Sometimes my daughter finds St Nic paper challenging. Nanyang also can try.
For Science, don't have extremely difficult or extremely easy school papers, more or less about there. Main thing is to seek exposure to different types of questions.

For those with P5 kids, you may want to try 2016 SCGS maths SA2 paper. Not many scored above 90 for that paper.

Hi everyone!


I am offering a holiday program on 31st May! Form a group of three and select from the following programme (others can be discussed too!)

1. Problem Sum Workshop P5/6 (Intermediate: learning how to tackle the commonly tested qns using ratio and model method- e.g. remainder qn, external transfer, internal transfer)
NOTE: Advanced (P5/6) and Beginner (P3, basic model drawing) Workshops are available upon request too. Each workshop will last for three hrs, and there will be performance feedback session for each student.

2. Writing Workshop P3/4 or P5/6
(Learning how to score in Compo, learning how to write to the requirement and how to improve the vocabulary in writing)
NOTE: Each workshop will last for three hours and there will be performance feedback session for each student.

Other workshops are available upon request too!
