I do actually know of 2 young people who had bone cancer in the leg and a mother who had stomach cancer. All in remission now. Cancer has other symptoms, it won't be just a pain. Look for general and unusual fatigue, inexplicable bloating, bruises that don't go away etc.

Different cancer has different symptoms. It's good to learn to notice or understand some of them. I also advocate going for the standard screening once you hit 40 yo.

For ladies, most common form of cancers - breast, colon, endometrial, lung, cervical, skin, and ovarian cancers.
For men, most common form of cancers - prostate, lung, colorectal, bladder and melanoma skin cancers.

My Uncle recently went a&e for stomach pain and was diagnosed with stage 4. Operated on immediately and now awaiting medical report.

I hope he is recovering well
May I ask he went to a private or govt hosp? If it is the latter, is he as a private or subsidised patient?

Thank you for your well wishes. He was discharged yesterday. He was at SGH.

There are some teenagers who claims they were left paralysed by this HPV vaccine. You can google it. My niece had the vaccination and she is alright. Other than GBS, they don't know why some people get paralysed by this vaccine while others don't.

We plan to go for the HPV vaccination after my girls’ PSLE. Suited for 9yo-26yo, before their first sexual encounter.

A friend of mine believes that child vaccinations can cause autism, till now her children are still kept at home (eldest 10yo). Can’t go to school as they don’t have any vaccination record.
