i made arrangement with host, & i can now check in 1day earlier already:) phew!
think easier to make day trips from osaka
now more on planning which day go where from osaka..
we have 9 days, including 1 day travel to Oasaka from tokyo disney hotel on 30th nov..
and last day flight back to s'pore 11.30pm on 8th Dec
places plan to go, kyoto, miyajima+hiroshima,kobe+rokko snow park....

this is our rough itinerary:
25th nov(Sat): reach Narita 7.30am, airport limousine to Hotel
shinjuku/shibuya/pokemon centre at sunshine city- after check in/go for dnr
26th Nov(sun): Sanrio land(still unsure going?)/cup noodle in yokohama/ tokyo skytower/tokyo skytree??
27th Nov(Mon): -tsujiki market 5am-9.30am, go back hotel check out before 11am
- check in hotel near disney.. go tokyo station for shopping+dnr,coz direct train 15min..
28th+29th(tue+wed) disneyland & disneysea
30th(thur): travel to Osaka (JR pass day 1)..after check in(near tennoji), can go where? & for dnr??
1st Dec(fri): western kyoto: Arashimaya(bamboo grove, sagano railway, monkey park iwatayama)
2nd Dec(sat) Hiroshima+Miyajima
3rd Dec(sun): kyoto- Himeji..half-day...then Osaka Aquarium...
4th Dec(Mon): Kyoto - Nara
5th Dec(Tue): Kobe - rokko snow park(need check open already??)
6th Dec(wed-JR Day7) Kobe(in case 1 day not enough..) / kyoto?? or where else??/ USJ but hubby not keen:)

7thDec(thur): Osaka sight-seeing Pass( get 1day or 2day pass??. coz flying back next day 11.30pm..)
-Lego discovery Centre, ferris wheel etc...
-Shopping
8th Dec(fri): after check out: continue using Osaka sight-seeing pass(if bought 2-day pass)
OR Nissin cup noodle museum(if only bought 1 day pass:)
flight back 11.30pm....

need slot in nishiki market..Gion+Kiyomizudera+Higadhiyama(near each other)..
my friend also mentioned Ginkakuji & Philosopher`s Path..SOuthern kyoto-Kinkakuji..

You can take a look at the itinerary via pm that i planned for my students who went to get a better idea where to slot the philosopher's path, etc.

Spent 15 hours to do up a 92 page full itinerary for my student who went to Tokyo/Osaka/Hokkaido/etc including all the maps.

1) 26th nov: not so keen on Sanrio Puroland, coz i check,it's ard 1h20min train ride with 1 transfer, from
Toyocho station which is nearest to our hotel..
so need plan where else is convenient+interesting to go?
if not wrong, hotel is convenient/accessible to go Odaiba/Sensoki temple/tokyo skytree/Akihabara??

2) 30th Nov: check in osaka apartment which is 5-7min walk from JR Teradacho station,
& is 1 station away from Tennoji station..
so not sure should go where ,after check in (earliest 3pm), for shopping+dinner??

3) 3rd Dec: u suggested kobe evening- night, after Himeji?? may i check where to go/what we can see in Kobe?:)
(will move osaka aquarium to 7th/8th dec

4) 6th Dec: kOBE...
suggested alternative to go Kurashiki+Okayama..anything interesting there? my kids 8 & 12yr old..
anyone been to these 2 places can share experience??
i tried to read up, quite interesting to me, but not sure whether kids will be bored ?? :?

5) 8th dec: nissin noodle museum, depends on where we going on 26th nov, still unsure whether worth going Sanrio land,
coz seems quite far

Why the pricing is cheaper is because they are originally from China/HK. All the exchange orders are issued from there, it seems...

I went to snow monkey park early Dec in 2015, it was snowing....

Falling snow when I dip into the Shibu onsen too......

Use Google Maps and key in all the locations that you wish to go, then from there, plan your route....

Hi, dimitri_can,

thanks so much for all the links for info on Kobe & espcecially Kurashiki,
as those links i found on Kurashiki were not as informative & detailed as those u provided..
so i decided that we will go explore Kurashiki

& also thanks for other suggestions, esp Google maps to plan our routes..
never thought of that at all !! & the goawaysam blog is so detailed, helps a lot to plan other trips!!
