Hi, dimitri_can,

thanks so much for all the links for info on Kobe & espcecially Kurashiki,
as those links i found on Kurashiki were not as informative & detailed as those u provided..
so i decided that we will go explore Kurashiki

& also thanks for other suggestions, esp Google maps to plan our routes..
never thought of that at all !! & the goawaysam blog is so detailed, helps a lot to plan other trips!!

I went to snow monkey park early Dec in 2015, it was snowing....

Falling snow when I dip into the Shibu onsen too......

but from my research, there was 1 blogger who went before chrsitmas no snow..
then he went after christmas then snowing..
he showed 2 pics which he took on both days, so different lor..
thus thought we should go next time when we can travel fm mid-end dec,

btw for the snow monkey, if go as a day trip, is it nearer from tokyo?
or nearer from osaka? anyone knows???

Why the pricing is cheaper is because they are originally from China/HK. All the exchange orders are issued from there, it seems...

can advise when is domestic flight tickets available for sale on line -am looking at ANA or JAL flights.
Domestic tickets to sapporo or Nagoya fr tokyo in mid Dec. Or anyone know . My past purchases were purchasing all int'l n domestic leg fr same airline, so am able to buy months before travel date
