Methodist Girls' School (Primary)

Hi everyone,
Just to check: if I were to consider taking the active community member route to applying under Phase 2B, which CCs would I need to apply with? Is it any CC in Holland-Bukit Timah? Which GRC does MGS fall under? Thank you so much! -
Anyone's child going to try for 2019 ?
Any feedback that it will be harder to get in due to dragon year (2012) babies? :rahrah: A scenario where even 2A1 needs balloting!
What do you guys think? -

So far, the only school that balloted in 2A1, was CHIJ St Nicholas primary.Anyone's child going to try for 2019 ?

Although MGS is also a full school, same like St Nick, but based on past 10 years' statistics (if u studied in detail), even in popular dragon year, no balloting was involved in MGS (2A1 Phase).
So, don't worry about MGS balloting in 2A1. -
Hi, hi.

https://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=83199&start=830#p1785076 @ 1200hr says 20 applicants under 1km. 28 applicants under 1km for the day seems plausible. -
But the MOE latest updates at 5pm showed 43 has registered......

Just called the School.
28 SC <1km
3 SC 1km<2km
12 SC >2km -
J_C_M_L:
With just 31 places available, the 12 SC > 2km would have no choice but to withdraw and register in another school - expect to see further movements here and in other Methodist schools.Just called the School.
28 SC <1km
3 SC 1km<2km
12 SC >2km
For 3 SC < 2km, it's going to be an agonising wait. Be prepared to withdraw and run to another school in the late afternoon...
