I think people are more cautious in sharing info that may affect their chance. That's normal.

Usually there's plenty of action in the final 30 min, so this won't be accurate. Anyway, if the >2km have chance to ballot, good luck! Balloting likely to be this Friday in the same room.

Best to give yourself at least 1 hour buffer! I have made it 5 minutes before closing, but completely breathless and heart beating so fast I nearly heart attack. Why take the risk?
