Me Time!

Yes, yes, I know! But I'm not entirely unexercised - I do use my stationary bike a couple of times a week, and I take public transport and walk quite a bit.
Yes, genes play a part.Jennifer:
I think genes have a lot to do with overall health outcomes too. I just got some medical results back, and my LDL is now \"borderline high\"! Considering that my diet is healthier than average even though I don't try extremely hard, it's hard to know what to adjust.
Exercise missing :siam: :siam:
Unfortunately, for some of us, we have to work harder for the same results that others get. -
FF,
having a baby is exciting, but you are going to welcome another set of twins again…double happiness.
just curious, babies look alike, so how did you differentiate the twins when they were newborn? -

Congrats FishFingers!FishFingers:
The 2 little girls kicked Mommy when Daddy said hello to them.
Everyone was glad to see me home.I told my wife about DD1 and DD2's misdeeds regarding their homework and she told me it was hard enough carrying 2 more girls.Told me to check their work instead.I cooked a sumptuous seafood dinner for the family to welcome myself back.MIL and her sis helped out while my wife rested because she was too tired.
DD2 gave Mommy's stomach unhappy face looks and pouted when I spoke to her 2 younger sisters though.
You wife must be quite far along already for you to know the gender and feel the kicks. So when will you be welcoming your princesses?[/quote
Thanks...They will be out in March next year. -

Just over 23. Probably need to cut weight, but it's easier said than done!probably gene or own body functions play a part too.. i went to look at our latest report done less than half year ago. dh ldl/total cholesterol also not good. mine within range and i eat fats since very young.touchwood.
from the quick reading last night..reducing weight may help too. your bmi ok? -
If I am not wrong, bmi has racial variations. Chinese's healthy range is lower.
This is an interesting overview of some differences among different ethic groups with regards to healthy bmi. But of course, it's still best to know yourself well.

You may need to add some weight training to preserve muscle tissue. Be sure to take adequate protein alongside.

Wow! You are bringing on a lot of major life changes in quick succession! Do look for ways to simplify your daily routines as much as possible while you have the time and space now.
Thanks...They will be out in March next year.Funz:

Congratulations, on new addition, to your family.
Come March 2018, once the twins are born, you'll be kept very busy, helping to sterilise milk water bottle, wash baby nappy, etc.
By then, there will be 7 ladies in your house :
(Wife + 4 girls, mother-in-law, maid to help out) -
Congrats, Fish Fingers! But March next year - means your wife must only be about a month or so along? You won’t know the gender yet, right? Usually around 18 to 20 week? Or is my maths wrong?
