Do you know if they schedule interviews by subjects - one subject per day? Or are they randomly scheduled? I know one girl whose interview is on Wed - DSA thru String Ensemble.

I am not sure about the scheduling but seems like it. DD1 said she knew one girl whose interview is on Friday, DSA via sports.

What are the chances for those who attended the interview but not called for half day program at RGS? Any idea?

(1) For those who get to interview, half the battle won. The school probably want to see you in person to see how you present, see how confident if you are ready for their school & interview performance will determine if the school wants you or not. At this stage, if you are not call for HDP, that means you no need to be tested on academic domain. Probably the school have confidence in your school results or credentials that you submitted during the application. Then, you just have to wait if you will be further notify or not. Just pray hard get CO after this stage.
(2) For those who have interviewed before, and was asked to attend the domain test again, chances are the school probably have doubt in your standard, may be half-convince, hence the test will reaffirm their confirmation if the students' standard are able to be on paw with their school's standard. If the students make it through in their test, chances are high for the good news too.
(3) For those who just called up for HDP to take domain test - also 50-50% chances. This test will filter away those weaker ones & students who did exceptionally exceptionally well - will get noticed by the school & call up for interview. Those who stand-up from others will get further notify if the school is keen to speak with your child.

The above is my guess only...don't shoot me huh! Actually this DSA is also like speculation game, making parents guess here & there.!

But my derivation guess on \"Interview\" is that - usually interview is the last stage where school more or less wants the student based on their outstanding results & achievement already; so interview is the most important part where you either break it or make it. Of course there is alot of cases of unsuccessful candidates after the Interview. But if you have come so far to get an interview from the school, I reckon it's a very good recognition for the whole DSA process. So good luck to all parents here! :rahrah:
