We should be receiving this week my guess.

I hope it's latest by this week as well. Seems like the RI DSA process this year is slightly different from last year. From last year's forum, I read the interview is held before the HDP. But it's the reverse for this year. Wondering if there's anyone who skips the HDP and goes direct for interview? :scratchhead:

Hi five teapot u also waiting too? Maths domain too? Really different from last year? I didn't research and read on for last yr RI.
Hi Ladylady, yes I'm waiting too (seems like I'm the one going for DSA and not my DS), but for Science domain. If you have the time or are curious, you can read up last year's DSA forum. Seems quite different the way it's conducted.

Yes, different as confirmed with their DSA admin.
This year no gat and moe requirement, everyone must go through hdp.
Last year most MS first took gat, then hdp, then interview. Most GEP with good academic results directly went into interview, some not so good got hdp first.

From the previous posts, for RI DSA academic, GEP boys attended interviews only and MS boys attended the HDP only. There have been exceptional cases whereby GEP boys also needed to attend the HDP and MS boys attended only interview. But such cases are likely few and far between.

Just a note to all parents anxiously waiting for DSA results:

Our kids have already come this far…whatever the outcome, let’s be proud of them for their courage, determination and efforts…I know i couldn’t have done this at their age.

And also let’s give ourselves a pat on the back for having raised them to become such outstanding young people!

DHS has infocomm trial this week. By end of this week, notification will be sent for interviews next week.

I was having a chat with my DS the other day. I asked him how he felt about the DSA thus far. He said “good”. I asked him why “good”? He said it will help him decide which school is right for him. I scratched my head and asked how? His reply “whichever school chooses him is the right school for him”. I did not ask further. When we started the DSA journey, although hopeful, it was also for the experience and to get to know the schools better. We both know, regardless of the outcome, PSLE is still the ultimate goal.
