Dear parents, has anyone received notification for interview from VS or NJC post- audition? We applied for band.

My DS went for VS arts interview on 19 Jul (audition/test was the week before), it was a group interview with 5 other music students (according to him). Now that I looked at the VS domains, there is no Music domain so the 5 of them are either from band, chinese orchestra or choir.

DS also received notice from NJC on 20 Jul for arts interview on 1 Aug.

If you still have not heard from these 2 schools, best to call them to check. This waiting game can be agonizing.

My daughter friend has two friends gotten news for interview. Hope this helps. In fact submission of documents last day fo Band is 28 July.

Our kids have already come this far...whatever the outcome, let's be proud of them for their courage, determination and efforts...I know i couldn't have done this at their age.

And also let's give ourselves a pat on the back for having raised them to become such outstanding young people!
