I just wonder... if HCI and RI have, at their open house shared that their DSA would reduce to 35%, then I assume for each domain, they would be stricter while shortlisting? Then how can they afford to shortlist students with only excellent school results? These are the very students everyone is talking about... they should be using tscore and not dsa with almost no talents. Of course it also depends on how talents are defined or decided by each school. I just thought that given the smaller %, schools, especially the top tier, would then ensure that ALL shortlisted do have evidence of talents, apart from school results?

Not sure about other schools. For RGS, they have to take a subject written test. DD who took the test last year told me the contents are pitched at Sec 1 level. I supposed this is how they identify subject talents. Geppers also took the test.
