2017 P1 Registration Exercise for 2018 In-Take

I'm asking for next year's registration: based on this year's outcome, would you risk balloting at phase 2B and try again for phase 2C if can't get in for ballot? Or would you go for a sure-in phase 2B, still good school but further away from home?

We are within 1km to Aitong and can do 2B. But ATS needs to ballot even for <1km and most definitely for 2C. Our 2CS options are not good.

I assume your possibility of 2B is due to SHHK. Given that you are confident of securing a recommendation, you must be a old timer in the association

For ATS, you should try balloting at P2B. If you failed to get in via P2B, you should look elsewhere for P2C. P2Cs option around that part of town is :yikes: (unless your child is a girl, then MCS is a viable option at P2Cs).

Aitong and Pei Chun definitely ballot within 1km.
It looks like you are staying in Bishan. It is hard to secure a place at 2B and impossible at 2C.

Pei Chun rarely ballots within 1km and for the last three years (including this year), it didn't even have to conduct balloting at Phase 2B.

It's possible to secure a place in P2C in Bishan - e.g. Guangyang is confirmed, guaranteed, chopped to be available but most people don't want it. Besides, Bishan is a very small (and narrow) estate only. For some people, Toa Payoh or Ang Mo Kio could actually be nearer or more convenient.

I seem to recall that last year MOE doesn’t update the page until end of Day 1 physical registration. Because online registration is still ongoing 24 hours. So the first update will be tomorrow night.

In case anybody thought of staying up tonite to see.
