Its pretty obvious the pull out from ACPS had a spill over effect to ACJS and SJI Jr with the uptake in registration especially for SJI Jr.

Yuh. Smart parents mah. See situation no good so switch lor. It might happen again this year, although generally speaking, this year ACS Primary seems to have lost its lustre for new parents. I wonder why... šŸ˜‰

This year acsp has more seats mainly due to lesser registered in 2a1 and 2a2. Could be just that the ex students had lesser kids that year?

It is more like last year (2016) was abnormally high, making this year's seem abnormally low. Still, the undercurrent of sentiments also plays a part. Every year different top schools take turns being the \"most popular\" during P1 registration.

It doesn't add up to 100% because the denominator is not the total number registered, but the number of places available for Phase 2C. I thought this is better because it shows which day the school gets oversubscribed. I don't know. You tell me what you need and I'll crunch it up.

That's why you must never trust the real estate agent when he/she tells you that the place is right next to a \"good\" school. It may actually be more of a bane than a boon.
