you will be surprised. some may insist they are staying within 1km although not the case.

i wonder during reg, does the admin input in our address into the system which is linked to the onemap? if not, how do they classify the applicants into the distance range? i am sure most of the parents are not aware that diff blks within the same condo may affect their chances. they might still be thinking they are within 1km range from their preferred sch.

Hi, I'm one of those parents who thought I was within 1km of my preferred school, but OneMap query actually showed that my place was 1.03km away from the school. So I was classified as within 1-2km.

As others have said, the schools use the same OneMap query. MOE and the schools are super strict about distance and will also not entertain any appeals.
