Anyone knows what the interview will be like? Group or Individual? What will they ask?

Last year, the interview is individual. There will be 2 teachers interviewing 1 student. One teacher will be asking the questions and the other teacher will be recording. All the best!

Does it mean majority of the kids called for the interview are those who won prizes in Maths & Science competitions?

I got the info from the previous posts in 2016. I guess those winners refer to platinum medal or gold medal… I did not receive any notification, the chance seems to be very slim. Best wishes to those who received the notice, closer to the goal.

Out of the 400 selected for the camp, 50% selected for the interview and 50% CO cases...200 of them rejected.


Thus, it left with a low chances for those that is not selected for interview to go in as CO comprising of Award winners, GEP students etc...for those DC don't have any awards background or in GEP prorgamme, the chances will be very low then.....

Hi Lhh21, guess we just have to wait for another 1-2 weeks to know, DS is not a gold or platinum award winner either, he got silver in NMOS & distinction in the RIPMWC, not sure if he stands any chance or not since did not receive any e-mail for interview…

Hi Lhh21, any idea how many kids will be selected out of 200 after the interview? I believe they will have SIE and some slots may be left vacant for it.

I also have similar feeling like you ckh005. DS has Mathlympics silver, NMOS Bronze, distinction in the RIPMWC, Prefect for last four years. He has not received interview. Let us wait and see. I guess if the CO-without interview students are about 80, not all can have Gold and Platinum.
