Based on past year balloting history PR has no chance for NAP.

Sorry, didn't realise your daughter is a PR.

Actually, you may consider another two schools : Haig girls & CHIJ Katong primary. These 2 schools are better, than Tanjong Katong primary.

If both Haig Girls and CHIJ Katong require balloting for PR : then forget about them, just enrol straight into Tanjong Katong.

But if Either Haig Girls or CHIJ Katong no need balloting for PR, can consider.

Haig Girls primary is a good school.
CHIJ Katong, got Sec school Affliation : also good.

Tomorrow being last day, just before lunch time, around 11.45 am : get all figures from these 3 schools, breakdown by distance & SC/ PR. From there, decide.

As of latest (tonight, from MOE) -
Haig Girls : out of 103 vacancies, 65 enrolled

CHIJ Katong : out of 102 vacancies,
51 enrolled

Tanjong Katong : out of 145 vacancies, 75 enrolled

Ngee Ann : out of 84 vacancies, 67 enrolled



Remember -
If both Haig Girls / IJ Katong need to ballot, then drop both, enrol straight into Tanjong Katong, because cannot risk balloting.

Understand your position now. You have to station at the school from 2pm onwards and you need to know absolutely the last time you need to leave this school to backup school. We cannot tell how many folks will appear during the last hour.

Last year day 1- 61, day 2 - 12, day 3 - 22

This year is 56 day 1 and 11 day 2

In that case, Ngee Ann primary will be out for you, because balloting will arise for Sg citizens only (NAP).

Thanks phtthp so much for your advices.. I'll go for TKPS if NAP request balloting tomorrow.. the number I get from NAP is match with MOE website..

I have another boy for P1 registration next 2 years... if TKPS still out my back up is CHIJ Katong and I have to go thru another stress in the next 2 years... :slapshead:

For keming totally no chance for 1-2km they even need balloting for those under 1 km. Only 90 vacancies but 114 under 1 km balloting for it.
