OMG! I just called ZDP and ask about the breakdown for 109/100. The lady told me all >1km applicants are rejected. 100 SG within 1km. We are that unfortunate one of the 9.
We couldn't believe that!
So we made another call 15min later... And we were told all SG are successful with their registration!
Now we do not know which is which @@

Unlikely that Zhangde has that many SCs staying within 1 km of the school. No offense to the school, but based on previous years' registrations, those who are in the < 1 km category for APS and ZDPS would opt for the former. If information posted earlier by other members about APS were true, I don't think ZDPS only has places for SCs in the < 1 km category. More likely, balloting may be for PRs in the < 1 km category.OMG! I just called ZDP and ask about the breakdown for 109/100. The lady told me all >1km applicants are rejected. 100 SG within 1km. So you are SC 1-2km?
Reject could mean try to reject those more than 1km to apply. they cannot reject your already submitted application, regardless you choose to withdraw or not. -

Perhaps this is why people should relax and let the schools / MOE do their job first.

The info will be updated within these 2 days (probably today) and there isn't a need to stress over it. It's not like you can do anything about it at this point in time.
Enjoy the rest of the day and what will be will be. -

When will we receive the letter from school informing of the registration is successful?

thanks qms & lexy for the information breakdown and analysis. yes. our application to ZDP is successful.
we found it puzzling as well as how can be so chun. 100 SC within 1KM and any others are not successful. thats reason for another call to clarify and we got a different response.
to floppy: its not that we are not letting the school or MOE do their job, but not a single breathing sound from the school is deafening, when all your surrounding friends are notified (everyday) about the need to go balloting or to withdraw. thus, a call this morning to check the breakdown of the applicants. we are not even asking if our application is successful to be honest. point noted to not stress over it. -

Those who will be remain here next year have to repeat the same Q&A.

I think someone must have withdrawn. As at last Friday at 4:20pm, RMPS office told me there were 51 applicants <1km vying for 48 places.
