2017 P1 Registration Exercise for 2018 In-Take

I think there is some confusion here... There are still 41 places available at Bukit View for Phase 2C (S)... You can apply Bukit View for 2C (S) or you can explore Lian Hua which has 108 places for Phase 2C (S).
AppleCrumble:
Don't think there is any appeal process in place. You can only request to be put on the Wait List with Bukit View. In the meantime, MOE will proceed with posting your child to the school nearest to your home that has still vacancies.Koaddymummy:
There are 3 school within 1 km of me. Bukit view, Keming and princess Elizabeth. I have been ballot out of keming. Any one have any idea should I be ballot out from bukit view for phase 2 c (s) can I appeal directly to the school?
Subsequently, when there is a vacancy in Bukit View and your child is selected to fill in the vacancy, the school will notify you and you can make a transfer then. -

Do you have the exact number for SCs for Keming within 1km? How many SCs within 1km for the 92 spots?
My friend is also balloting for keming, and yesterday she said is 131 eyeing for the seats..
Hope that helps -

KSP is better than MOE...bcos KSP gives advice what to do before and after each phase. The next steps to take which MOE doesn't provide. That's why even PM knows about this site.Lexy:

Totally agreed! :udawoman: :udaman: -
I selected Edgefield Pri cos really nearby..it has a 16yr history. I went for the sch tour too. CCA robust (dance, photography etc). Good luck on your selection!

My son just got ballot out of Mee Toh (< 1KM) and need to seek advices on alternatives : Greendale Pri and EdgeField Pri.
Both schools are within 1KM.
Anyone cares to advice..... -

2 years ago, I was balloted out of the school of our choice. I was devastated and so distraught that I left the school in a blur. Not even staying behind to waitlist as other parents did.
Only after 2 days then I went to said school and put my child on waitlist, thinking it was a really long shot but a shot nonetheless, we need to take. By then I was already farther down the waitlist and really kicking myself.
And so the school year began and on the second week of Jan, the school called me and offered my child a chance to transfer. Imagine my joy ! I was unlucky and then I got lucky.
I can totally related to the disappointment of being balloted out. I also understand my case is not typical but it does says waitlist is not always first come first serve either.
Getting yourself waitlisted is definitely the first step but in the meantime, ensure your kid does not sense your disappointment as its an important milestone for them and they deserve to start it positively.
So you did a trf to the school that you wanted? What happen to the unused school uniforms and the exercise books?
Do you need to re buy the textbooks? -
