SnoopyMum and ViKids, thank you for clarifying that there is no RPD class in 2017.

Back to what it used to be. 😄

There wasn't any RPD during my DS' time (DS is in Y6 this year). All students did RP, regardless if they were from GEP, Mainstream or Sports classes.

Interesting. Was RPD class started by Mrs Lim or Mr Chan? DS is the first batch under Mr Chan.

Sports Class did the RPD. DSA kids, before the 2016 batch, with T-scores below 240 were channelled to the Sports Class. RPD also led to IP. RI only officially presents O-Level school candidates in 2015, if my memory hasn't failed me.

For RI and HCI, any idea how the Year 1 classes are grouped? Is it random, by T-score, or gep vs mainstream?

For HCI, if I recall correctly, during the OH, we were told that there will class for GEP kids. Those in MS who are exceptional good will be allocated to this class as well.

At least this happens to one of my friend whose son is in Y2 now.

SnoopyMum and ViKids, this is exactly what I heard as well. No more RPD class in 2017.

If DSA via Sports into RI still need minimum of t score 240/250? I thought just 200 will do?

Yes, GEP kids end up in the iSparks consortium in HCI. The rest are just distributed randomly across the other 3 consortiums.
One of my son's pri school's top boy with 27X wasn't even put in iSparks, not sure why.

Anyone call HCI to check when they are releasing the results?
