Based on past data, it appears all WL gets confirmed since there was supplementary intake.
Just wondering if that means when NUSH opens SIE, it will equal to WL all converted or this is their standard process even if there's no vacancies? Anyone knows of any year when NUSH don't do SIE? -

Troubled, don't worry too much. I think at this stage no one knows exactly, not even the schools.I think most people would not have informed the school that they are not keen on the COs, most probably need the time to consider carefully, maybe after PSLE. I know of a kid with 4 COs , but can't possibly be accepting all 4 right? .This is not uniquie situation as several have more than 1 CO. People will be giving up some of the COs, as one can only have 1 first choice.. Schools would know what is the shortage/surplus only after we exercise the preference form. Therefore, as long as there you have a WL status, your DC has a chance. :xedfingers:ksraja69:

Thanks snsn and ngl2010 for the sharing.
She says will evaluate again after psle, now the last lap must focus. Seems like she quietly confident of giving up the 2nd best to go for the best -
Thanks Esteema and SnSn, may I ask if my child's Sch A WL will be at disadvantage compared to another child who put in Sch A WL as choice#1 although the ranking (of course nobody except the school know the ranking) is lower than my child?
I do not wish to lose the chance as Sch B cohort size is too small; there is a high risk of not able to convert to CO.
Afterall, both are good schools
Thanks again. -

What matters would be how the school ranks you in the WL. So if you do not get Sch B WL, you would be considered for Sch A WL. So it should not matter if child X put Sch A WL as 1st choice while you put Sch A WL as 2nd choice and you would be considered first if Sch A ranks you ahead of child X and you are not successful in Sch B WL.Thanks Esteema and SnSn, may I ask if my child's Sch A WL will be at disadvantage compared to another child who put in Sch A WL as choice#1 although the ranking (of course nobody except the school know the ranking) is lower than my child?

St nick has no Maths/science domain for DSA.phtthp:
Anyone know for St Nick, how many P6 students received CO, for (Maths & Science) domain ?
Anyone received WL, for St Nick Maths / Science ?
Thanks very much, MeMyselfAndI -

Thanks Winnie08, but I'm asking about RGS, and specifically, on RGS' Special Arts Program, not NYGH. Thanks.
The thing is, for WaitLists : RGS won't disclose to parents what's their child's ranking like, so is hard to tell the chance of conversion -
lee_yl:
:congrats: lee_yl, on your daughter's successful, GREAT COFor those who have not received any letter yet, please give your school a call.
Ours was bounced back due to a wrongly written address and the school had to call us to go down to the school to pick up the letter. :frustrated:

Thanks phtthp

When they opened up SIE, it means that many have turned down the co, converting wl to co and with some more vacancies.ksraja69:

But the issue is, by the time they re-invite those who got rejected previously, these kids probably have already confirmed their CO elsewhere even though they want NUSH as well.
So I guess it will benefit those who want to go but have no co offer or on WL at other school.
Good luck to those who want NUSH! should be high chance !!
