Do ur think we should stop revision a few days b4 psle? That's what my colleagues told me. No revision 2-3 days b4 psle.

I think it is wise to stop doing those papers the week leading to PSLE. Revision should still go on to keep the memory fresh..

Staying away from intensive revision 2 days before psle is to keep sane and calm.
The night before psle, lights out early, make the room conducive to rest.
Agree, though I think light revision can still go on 2 days before PSLE, like flipping through files and notes briefly and quickly...?

Daughter is exempted from MT....so I don't know about Nanyang.

For the 3 subjects, I used Nanyang, ACS, St Nic, MGS (English), catholic high, and SCGS.
Nanyang comprehension tends to be tough. Then i also chose selective specimen exam questions in the assessment book. Also used Top series published by EPH.
Thanks for sharing!

Light revision like 1-2 questions for math to keep the brain working but not over stressing.

MCQ for science is not too heavy…alternate between lower and upper block.

All the best for psle.

My DD1 said school conducted a talk for the P6s and the advice was that for the day before the exams, don't overwork.

We will probably stop doing papers by then but unlikely to do nothing 2-3 days before PSLE. Probably some light revision and of course, have an early night

must specify which subject, because some schools are easy in 1 subject, but tough in another subject

Chinese : u need to split into Normal Chinese, or Higher Chinese

nanyang - english comprehension is challenging.
raffles girls
acs
mgs - chinese is easier than most schools (but that is my assumption based on son's time in primary school)

*diffcult paper
nan hua - chinese is challenging.
catholic high
st. nick
Taonan - chinese is challenging.
Rosyth
frankly it's hard to gauge because like what phtthp mentioned, certain subjects for some schools are definitely very challenging. i got my daughter to attempt ACS, Rosyth, Catholic High and MGS (3 subjects)for purpose of exposure.

Quite true.
My plan is: a week b4 psle...
Eng: read thr prev compo marked by tutor
Chi: same as eng
Maths : paper 1 only
Sci : mcq only

i still thinking if shld get the 2017 prelim papers, we only left with 20+ Days to psle! Quite a waste of money. Mr Gan exam papers quoted me $30 for Maths n Sci.

Don’t buy any past year papers. There won’t be time to do.

1 week before first paper, it is necessary to slow down intensive revision.
Math…work on some problem sums as a form of practice. Paper 1 must be confident to complete within 45 min. Skip the question after 1 minute if not sure. Do not leave any blanks…even for method, can get 1-2 marks even if answer is wrong.
Science…MCQ is a good form of practice.
The day before first paper…relax.

😂 Cannot right? 2-3 days totally don't do anything like :nailbite:

I was also thinking whether there's a need to buy other schools' prelim papers but DH beat me to it as he just went ahead to buy them yesterday! $15 per subject and $45 for 4 subjects.
