You're wonderful model of a mum letting go at appropriate timing according to your DS maturity. Pat on your back! Well done!!

      Thanks Esteema.
every child is different...knowing when to let go depends on the his/her character.

      Absolutely agree! :hi5:

for Maths, due to tight schedule, amongst these Top schools' Maths paper (Tao Nan, Nan Hua, Nanyang) : which one should a P6xer practise from ?

(no time to practise from all the 3 schools, but only one)

          hi phtthp,

how many questions do you plan to do?
if you have time to do 3, then choose from different schools…some schools offer good exposure.

            hi Janet,

allocate full 3 days for Maths only, other subjects also demand for time, particularly Science (heaviest, most demanding of all 4 subjects), followed by Higher Chinese

                hi phtthp,
i'm hopeless where solving math is concerned...but i circled certain questions from each topic for her to work on. same for science questions which i have not seen before (example the way they are phrased)...after looking at answer key, i realize they are doable. MCQ, i stressed on minimum 58 marks. For English, we didn't do much on synthesis but the 'big ticket' ones.

If time permits, I would suggest do all 3. Tao Nan, Nan Hua and NY maths paper provide good practice.

If time is a constraint and cannot complete 3 full papers, then I suggest you read through these 3 papers and pick the questions you deem challenging as well as the questions from topics which your DD is weak in for her to do.

For us, we don't revise this way leh, that is, allocate 3 or 5 full days just doing maths. I prefer to get my DD1 to practice a bit of maths on alternate days. Else, very easy to become rusty.

Last 10 days to PSLE. Time is precious, for us, we skip paper 1 and directly zoom into paper 2, where she tends to lose marks.

P/S: Did some neighborhood maths papers (like Junyuan, Yangzhen and Keming) provided by sch and they are not easy.

Maybe this is a bonus question to all kids where all answers are acceptable  🆒

Prefer the last answer (mom is thrifty, don't like to spend money buy new clothes) as Is more sensible, compared to the first two answers
