Is it normal for schools to be doing past year paper at this juncture? I mean 2 days before psle?

Yes, some schools still trying to cramp things into their brain, LAST minute. Whether Last minute learning / cramming / drilling, etc. effective or not, is a question mark ? Still can absorb ? But, a number of students this week also skip school liao ...
Heard that stickers needed for calculator and Chinese dictionary. Anyone received this. My child didn't receive. Message the teacher and she also didn't reply. A lot of the classmates are not going to school tomorrow and mine might not be going also.

Go straight to school admin & ask for it asap tmr. Don't delay. If u're FTWM. Go during yr lunch.

this is VERY important. make sure you get at least one sticker for each.

the night before math, insert new batteries, make sure all functions work and bring a spare calculator if available. this is the time to be KIASU. at least 2 2B pencils, soft eraser, 2 pens. clear ruler.
Sorry to ask, may I know why are stickers required for calculator and Chinese dictionary, what stickers and where to get them ? Thanks in advance.

            Hi Phtthp

            Thanks!
Yes I told DS not to be too worried on finishing the work. Originally wanted him to skip school so that he can rest & work on weak areas today but he insist on going.

It’s ok. Have to take it easy at this juncture.

              Hi mmummy

The sticker is from the school and that means items are checked and approved for psle use.
Those will be allowed in the exam hall.
The school had pasted sticker on both calculator and e-dictionary last week. Do check with school again just in case it was overlooked.

                Thanks, ongstarling.

DC didn’t bring any stickers back. I just called school and was told need to check with HOD before letting me know. They claimed not all school issue stickers. Now waiting for them to revert to me.

even for daughter in sec 1, calculators require a school sticker before it is allowed to be brought into the exam hall. please double check. it is very urgent.

Hi mmummy, the stickers may have been given and pasted 1-2 years back when the children first started using them in school. This was the case for DS's school but when he changed his chinese e-dictionary some months, he asked the teacher for a new sticker. You may want to check if the stickers are already pasted when your child is back from school today.
