          BTSfaith05:
Is it possible to still score 255 and above if one of the subjects score is 82?

It's still possible depending on the scores of the other subjects. At least 2 A* for the rest of the subjects for a better chance.

My older kid took her PSLE last year and English isn't her forte, so it's likely she got a low A (high 70's - low 80's) but thankfully she got more than 255 overall as she scored 2 A* for Math and Science, and possibly a high A for Chinese.

Are the PSLE subjects graded, after the marks have been moderated ?

            Eg

If one scored 88 marks (Raw score) for the tough PSLE Maths paper this year (2017), will his T-score for Maths end up getting adjusted to A or A , because the Maths paper was set tough ?
(after factoring in the entire P6xers’ PSLE cohort mean, std deviation)

            A : 75 to 90
            A
            : 91 and above

Yes that might happen. My dd for prelims scored 83 for science, 77 for math. But thankfully her chinese (surprisingly haha) and her english (a*) pulled her to a 248. Not quite up to her standards, but its gd enough for me 😄

I think it's possible that the A* requirement drops from 91 to 88 if paper is hard..(sch teacher did mentioned to my ds)

For eg last yr 's Sci paper was tough, somehow it's easier to score A*..col's gal score 60-70 in prelim, and thought she might fail actual psle sci, ended up with A* in actual paper.

Can anyone share how do you estimate t score w pre lim results? x0.7 or x0.75 ? sch instructions was x0.7
