            Hi muska,

On a more conservative, realistic side, school Tr told my kid to multiply by either 0.7 or 0.72.

Not 0.75, because 0.75 is a bit high.

So, we take Total of 4 subjects’ (EMS, Mother tongue) Raw score , multiply by 0.7, to estimate roughly the T-score, since we do not have our school’s Std deviation, mean

              Morinosuke:
              BTSfaith05:

Is it possible to still score 255 and above if one of the subjects score is 82?

It's still possible depending on the scores of the other subjects.

At least 2 A* for the rest of the subjects for a better chance.

My older kid took her PSLE last year and English isn't her forte, so it's likely she got a low A (high 70's - low 80's) but thankfully she got more than 255 overall as she scored 2 A* for Math and Science, and possibly a high A for Chinese.

With minimum 2A*, one can reach 255.

In order to reach / target 261, via T-score (Non-DSA route) (eg : RGS threshold Cut-off-point), P6 student need to score minimum 3A* ?

I do know of students who scored above 255 with one A*, but I believe the rest of the subjects scored high A nearing A*.

                  E.g. scenario
                  Subject 1= 95 (A*), and
                  Subject 2, 3 and 4 = all 88 (high A*)

Total raw score for 4 subjects = 359
                  Estimated T-score = 359 * 0.72 = 258

And sometimes 90+ doesn’t guarantee A*, e.g. for easy papers where majority perform well, I heard A* benchmark can be 95 and above.
